Set up the TEM2Go geophysical scanner from TEMcompany.

Supplying TEM technology for Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa.

In June, we were delighted to host Linda Kafui Abbah-Foli, Head of Trade at the Embassy of Denmark in Ghana. We encouraged Linda to bring along some practical shoes and took her on-site with our International Sales and Marketing Specialist, Emma Nives, to demo the TEM2Go, our latest instrument.

We are in discussions with the Embassy and the Trade Council of Denmark in Sub-Saharan Africa on developing business relationships with companies and organizations in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. We believe that TEMcompany‘s geophysical instruments can bring significant value to geophysical mapping solutions across these regions.

Set up the TEM2Go geophysical scanner in the TEMcompany workshop.

The Importance of Groundwater in Ghana

  • Groundwater provides approximately 50% of the nation’s water demand (up to 70% in rural areas).
  • Groundwater provides domestic, agricultural, and industrial water, especially in regions where surface water is scarce or seasonal.
  • Groundwater is used for irrigation, small-scale mining, and livestock management.

Ghana has a strong local framework and technical expertise for deploying our subsurface mapping technology across several applications. Along with the Council, we’re developing a better understanding of the current technologies in use for groundwater mapping, the capacity of local service providers, and the potential for our instruments to deliver impactful solutions.
